An Edinburgh woman has told how she struggled to walk in a straight line before a devastating cancer diagnosis. Alex was diagnosed with stage four medulloblastoma in January 2023.
But before her diagnosis, she suffered extreme headaches and issues with her vision.The 32-year-old has since undergone four surgeries and seven weeks of gruelling radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
But Alex, who preferred to keep her surname anonymous, recalled feeling "really tired" and suffering extreme headaches before being diagnosed with the malignant cancerous tumour.Alex told our sister title, Edinburgh Live: "I was really tired and started getting excruciating headaches.
Towards Christmas time I was on annual leave from work and gradually started losing my balance, I couldn't walk in straight lines."I just didn't know what was happening.
