Future home of AIDS Services of Dallas AIDS Services of Dallas President and CEO Traswell Livingston II announced today (Thursday, July 18) that ASD is moving its offices to the historic Bishop Arts District, located at 201 S.
Tyler St. The offices are currently located in Oak Cliff Tower at 400 S. Zang Blvd. Livingston also announced that ASD will expand current services to include short-term rent, mortgage and utility assistance and community-based housing/outreach support, featuring the new ASD Education and Training Center. “The relocation to 201 S.
Tyler St. underscores ASD’s commitment to community development and historical preservation,” Livingston said. “By retaining the building’s classic facade, the organization seeks to contribute to the area’s cultural legacy while providing a welcoming and updated environment for its programs and services.” To celebrate the relocation and the completion of the renovations, AIDS Services of Dallas will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11 a.m.

According to a press release today announcing the move, ASD is “a dedicated organization that creates, strengthens and sustains healthy communities by providing quality, affordable, service-enriched housing to economically disadvantaged individuals/families who are living with, impacted by, or at risk for HIV/AIDS.” ASD has been providing housing and support services for low income and homeless individuals and families living with, impacted by or at risk for HIV/AIDS for more than 37 years.
