Fergie set to bail out Prince Andrew as his home needs £2m worth of repairs
It’s been reported that Fergie is set to bail out Prince Andrew in a bid to help him stay at his Royal Lodge mansion on the Windsor Estate.
The controversial royal needs to find £2million for urgent repairs on the huge house, which his ex wife Sarah Ferguson is reportedly stumping up.
Friends of the duchess have said she has offered a solution for her former husband’s quest to find the money needed to pay for the renovations at his 30-room pad after he faced threats of eviction from his brother, King Charles.The pair have stayed very close since they split and Fergie lives with Andrew “when in the UK”.
The lodge is said to be ridden with damp and is in need of vital roof repairs.A friend of Sarah told the Mirror: “It is true Sarah has a vested interest in Andrew continuing to live at Royal Lodge, as it is where she stays when in the UK.“But it is more than that, this is about Andrew’s pride.
