Around 293,000 couples have married since the US Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal. Moreover, those weddings have generated $3.8billion for the US economy.
Those are two of the major findings from a study by the respected Williams Institute. The end of this month – 26 June – will mark five years since the US Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v Hodges.
