A 32-year-old man initially put his fatigue down to the buzz and exhaustion of attending a large family wedding. But, when he presented symptoms that included joint pain, persistent headaches, and chronic tiredness to his GP on a day off from work, the advice was urgent - go straight to A&E.
After investigations, Leeds resident Ricky Duggal received a life-changing diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).
Reflecting on how things escalated, Ricky shared: "We'd just celebrated my cousin's big wedding at the end of July 2023, and I felt a bit run down and fatigued the week after. "I had had back pain before dentists often get it because of our bad posture whilst working with patients.
