EXCLUSIVE: WOW Presents Plus is pushing into the scripted game. RuPaul’s Drag Race producer World of Wonder has acquired queer Canadian comedy I Hate People, People Hate Me for its SVoD.

The six-part dark comedy series created by and starring Canadian comic Bobbi Summers will premiere globally on WOW Presents Plus in 2025.

I Hate People, People Hate Me from LoCo Motion Pictures follows two friends – Jovi (Summers) and Tabitha (Lily Kazimiera) – as they navigate the local queer community of their hometown, Toronto, as despairing outsiders as they explore their identities from the sidelines of a world that feels to them increasingly mainstream and commodified.

WOW Presents Plus has a wealth of Drag Race series in its back catalog along with docs and stand up, but this is its first scripted series and represents a big moment for the platform.
