Dee Holley, executive director of the Dallas County Republican Party, will be guest speaker to the Thursday, Nov. 21 meeting of the recently re-organized Dallas chapter of Log Cabin Republicans.
The meeting will be held at Meso Maya in Uptown, beginning with cocktail hour at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. Holley will talk about how Log Cabin members can get involved as precinct chairs to “make meaningful changes at the state level,” and work together with the Dallas County Republican Party “toward achieving goals like securing a table at the Texas GOP Convention in 2026,” according to a press release announcing the meeting.
Log Cabin members will also nominate a leadership team and set the course for the chapter moving forward, including creating committees on charity, social media, legislative, events and recruiting to “drive change locally and statewide.” A dinner of queso poblano, chips and salsa, arrachera chicken and steak, serrano chicken enchiladas, queso blanco enchiladas, churros and foundation drinks available for $48.50, including tax and tip, will be available. — Tammye Nash
