Perthshire Pride has revealed its exciting line up ahead of the 2023 festival next weekend.Season three winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Krystal Versace, will headline the extravaganza on Saturday, August 26.Miss Versace will be joined by fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race alumnus, Jonbers Blonde, as well as UK drag queen Anubis and Brazilian-born rapper Aggro Santos.Celebrations start at the Thimblerow Car Park from 11am with a rapturous and colourful pride parade led by Traitors stars Theo Mayne and Amanda Lovett.The free festival, previously held outside Perth Concert Hall at Mill Street Plaza, will this year arrive and celebrate at North Inch, and will open its doors from 12pm to 5.30pm.More than 50 market stalls will be set up, as well as cocktail bars, hair braiding and a food village.A Pride spokesperson said: “Perthshire Pride are super excited to welcome Krystal to our Perthshire Pride Festival.“Krystal is an absolute powerhouse.“From the look to the performances, Krystal is an all round superstar.”They added: “Up next, we are delighted to announce that we will also be joined by Jonbers Blonde.“Jonbers placed in the top four of RuPaul’s Drag Race season four.

Jonbers is very excited to come perform in Perth and we are excited to have her.“Jonbers won the hearts of viewers with her fashion and comedy.“Perthshire Pride can’t wait for this see what she does.”Perthshire Pride’s “post pride chill out” event, The Yard, will host a Pride Brunch and Market at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Sunday, August 27.The dog-friendly event will see revellers head to the Leonard Street venue from 11am to 3pm, with 45 small business stalls, a garden bar, live music and face painting among the offerings.Perthshire Pride co-chair Maryisia
