LGBTQ+ adult store in Manchester attacked for fifth time in four months

Police have launched an appeal for information after Clonezone, a well-known LGBTQIA+ adult store in Manchester, was attacked yet again.

The shop, which is located on Sackville Street in Manchester’s city centre, was vandalised on Sunday, 10 September at approximately 2pm local time.

CCTV shows two men approaching Clonezone on a motorbike before one gets off and attempts to smash the windows, which are now protected by iron bars due to the number of times it has been targeted.

After failing to shatter them, police said they “then threw an object at the doors and also at the security equipment which was placed on the outside the premises this has caused around £3,500 of pounds worth of damage.” It marks the fifth attack on the business in the last four months alone.
