Meet Mavis, a cute girl with a goofy personality, a love for toys and a sweet, gentle side that makes her the perfect cuddle bug and loyal friend.

Mavis is a 7-month-old Shepherd weighing 53 pounds. She is smart and endlessly curious, she can be a bit nervous in new situations.

So she’s looking for a patient, loving family who will understand her quirks and help her blossom. Like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Mavis has been spayed and microchipped and has had all her age-appropriate vaccines.

She is waiting for her forever family at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, so come by any day between noon and 6 p.m.
