Luckily, to commemorate 40 years of “Last Christmas,” WHAM! has released a special Last Christmas 40th Anniversary EP, including a previously unreleased live rendition at Wembley Arena, that feels like unwrapping a nostalgic gift that’s been waiting under the tree.

Julien Baker and TORRES have gone full yeehaw, and it’s as sweet as it sounds. After debuting their first single as a duo on The Tonight Show and performing live at Mercury Lounge, “Sugar in the Tank” has fans saddling up for more with it’s harmony-laden vocals and shimmering pedal steel.

The track was born from the duo’s shared experiences of growing up queer in the south, the duo reclaiming the genre on their own terms with a fresh, joyful spin (something new from Baker), acting as the perfect teaser for their forthcoming collaborative album.
