The shocking results show Kamala Harris leading Trump by 3 points, 47% to 44%. That would be a seismic upset, considering Iowa’s rightward shift over the last decade.

After Barack Obama won the state in both 2008 and 2012, Trump carried Iowa by 9.4 points in 2016, and by roughly 8 in 2020. In June, Selzer’s poll showed Trump leading Joe Biden by 18 points!
