Big Brother's Kerry has said sorry after being warned about using 'offensive and outdated' language. On Sunday night's live show, Kerry used the term gay in a negative way.
Kerry was left frustrated when her mattress was hidden by her housemates, who had told her the public had voted for her to lose it.
And while chatting with her housemates Olivia and Jenkin, who lied about what happened to her bed, Kerry said: "Well this is gay", causing outrage amongst viewers. "I hope she gets reprimanded for that," wrote one viewers, while another added: "'Well this is gay' another slip of the mask." A spokesperson for Big Brother has since revealed they have spoken to Kerry about her language.
They said: "Kerry was brought to the diary room to discuss her inappropriate use of language. Big Brother reminded Kerry of her respect and inclusion training prior to entering the House and the consequences of any further use of offensive language." "Kerry understood and apologised for any offence caused." Kerry's annoyance came after a prank by Olivia and Jenkin. They tricked her into believing the public voted for her to lose her mattress.
