Drag Race star Gottmik wants to see more stories about trans men in the media
Drag Race star Gottmik has called on the entertainment industry to include more stories about trans men. Back in 2021, the 27-year-old star made Drag Race history when she became the first-ever out transgender male contestant to compete on the long-running franchise.
During her run on season 13, the beloved queen – who goes by he/him pronouns outside of drag – won two challenges and made it all the way to the top four.
Since bursting onto the scene, Gottmik has continued to use her platform to open up about her journey and the importance of trans representation in the industry.
