Two-time Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon has joined the cast of Doctor Who’s new season in what is believed to be a major role. “In a galaxy of comets and supernovas, here comes the biggest star of all,” showrunner Russell T Davies said. “Jinkx Monsoon is on a collision course with the TARDIS, and ‘Doctor Who’ will never be the same again.

Russell was the driving force in the show’s revival in 2005, as well as spin offs such as Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
