Gemma Collins is engaged to her longterm boyfriend Rami Hawash after he popped the question while in the Maldives. The TOWIE favourite, 43, was left stunned when a relaxed dinner on the beach turned out to be a romantic proposal, with her beau Rami asking her to marry her with a "huge sparkler". "Rami popped the question again in the Maldives, and Gemma had no idea it was coming, she was so shocked.

She is absolutely thrilled and she can’t believe it is finally happening," a source told The Sun. Rami surprised his girlfriend with "hundreds of roses" and light up letters reading 'Will You Marry Me?', which appeared as the pair tucked into dessert. "Rami had flown out hundreds of roses and there were thousands of petals.

She didn't know what was happening until a huge platter of cakes came out and as Gemma started eating her mango dessert, Rami surprised her and said, 'look at that'.

He had lit up, 'Will You Marry Me?' on the sand," the source added. Gemma "had no idea" Rami was planning to propose and even had no makeup on as she thought she was heading to a "relaxing dinner" with her boyfriend.
