Each year the themes serve as an introspective reminder of what we can learn from the past and take forward in the present. This year, the theme was to recognise the queer contributions made in the field of medicine.

While February is long over, the continuing politicisation of trans healthcare remains and we want to talk about it. The trans and non-binary community’s relationship with the medical field and recognition within queer history is a complicated one.
