Eve 6000 has announced that she “quit” Drag Race. On X (formerly known as Twitter), the Canada’s Drag Race star told her followers: “I’m just going to say at this point that I’ve officially quit drag.
At least as it relates to “Drag Race.” “Drag will always be a part of my life that led me to who I am, but “Drag Race” isn’t something I would ever wish to personally be a part of again.” Eve added: “Not like it’s big news to anyone but yeah.
I’m over it for many, many, many reasons… I’m flourishing in life more than I ever have since I finally let it go a year ago.” The star memorably competed on the second season of Canada’s Drag Race, where she received praise for her acting skills, impersonated Bernie Sanders in the Snatch Game and went viral as Revealina in the Rusical – particularly for her delivery of the lyric: “I got a trick… up my sleeve”.
Eve ultimately sashayed away in eighth place after losing the lip-sync smackdown to Synthia Kiss. In February 2022, Eve came out as a trans woman in an interview with Joseph Shepherd for his online Drag Race series Exposed.
