A Lanarkshire hairdresser was a cut above the rest as he styled the stars at TRNSMT.Archie Wing Tat Lam of the Uddingston branch of Scotland’s largest hair salon group, Rainbow Room International, worked his magic behind the scenes at the Scottish music festival, TRNSMT, to transform the stars and enhance their overall appearance before their on-stage performances.The festival has had a partnership with the salon for six years, with a stylist from each of their stores attending to the needs of the artists this year, including Maisie Peters and band, Mae Stephens, Lucia & The Best Boys and band members from The 1975, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West and The Coronas to name a few.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I was really glad to be a part of working professionally backstage.“Sadly I was only working on the Friday, so unfortunately our team never met too many of the stars that day.“I have done hairdressing for two years in Hong Kong and since March in the salon, so it was very exciting to do something different.
