The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is now an inclusive event and two models made history as the first transgender models to ever walk in the show! Alex Consani and Valentina Sampaio both walked in the show on Tuesday night (October 15) at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City.
Victoria’s Secret has made a pledge to make this year’s show inclusive and that the show will “deliver precisely what our customers have been asking for—the glamour, runway, fashion, fun, wings, entertainment—all through a powerful, modern lens reflecting who we are today.
We’re thrilled to share a women-led articulation of this iconic property later this year!” Emira D’Spain, who is also a transgender model for Victoria’s Secret, sat in the front row at the show. Alex walked the runway in the Sequin Shimmer Bra Top & High-Waist Short Set, which you can buy now on VS’ website for $89.95. Valentina wore the Shine Triangle Bralette & V-String Panty Set, which you can buy now for $119.95 for both pieces together.
