Donnesh Amrollah, inaugural executive director for Pride In Dallas, announced in an email on Wednesday, Nov. 20, that he is stepping down from that position, and Vincent DeLuna is taking over as executive director.

Pride in Dallas was formed to organize a Pride parade on Cedar Springs Road each September after Dallas Pride in 2019 was moved to Fair Park in June.

Pride in Dallas held its third parade this past September. “As we prepare for 2025, I think it’s vital for this group to know that I have stepped down as executive director of Pride in Dallas,” Amrollah wrote in his email. “It has been a privilege to be Pride in Dallas’ inaugural ED.

Putting on a parade with this team was a life changing experience, and one that I am happy to make way for my successor to enjoy.” Amrollah said DeLuna has “years of experience planning and executing parades throughout DFW.” He added that he will remain involved in Pride In Dallas as a board member and as board treasurer.
