Carol Vorderman jumped straight back into I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! life after seven years away with a terrifying 50-metre cliff plunge just moments after re-entering the show.

I'm A Celebrity. began its first all-star series tonight with I'm A Celebrity South Africa, and just like the main series, the contestants were thrown straight into challenges before they even made it to camp.

Former stars of the ITV1 show are taking a second chance at being in camp and Carol, 62, couldn't wait to get stuck in as viewers saw her leap confidently from a platform high above the savannah.The former Countdown star dropped 50 metres and swung from a harness to try to find a number code that would unlock a star to win a meal for the group.

Jordan Banjo and Amir Khan watched on in awe as Carol took on the nerve-jangling trial with no complaint, shouting: "Africa I love you" as she dropped, as Jordan admitted: "I'm nervous for her."
