Upon accepting the position she said, “I am excited to strengthen identity and cybersecurity solutions that protect our economy, government, and society, from cyber-attacks, so we can all safely use digital tools.
My roles at the White House ONCD and SBA highlighted for me the importance of digital safety and cybersecurity to protect our small businesses, transportation systems, schools, hospitals, and individual rights; therefore, I look forward to continuing to further this domain.” Prior to this Pugin served as Senior Policy Adviser at the White House Office of National Cyber Director (ONCD) in the Biden administration.
