Gemma Collins has revealed she 'nearly died' while on holiday in Venice.The 43-year-old former TOWIE star said needed medical help after she was stung by a wasp and her tongue swelled.

Gemma shared clips from the scary ordeal with her followers, revealing that she was taken to hospital in a water ambulance. She wrote on Instagram: “I NEARLY DIED …..My tounge swelled so quick thank god @rami_hawash_ acted so quick and the hotel and a HUGE THANK YOU TO THE HOSPITAL IN VENICE AND ALL INVOLVED.” She added: “And if course I always say there is a reason for everything and this was my answer …..
