Heartstopper icons attend Netflix and GAY TIMES’ special season 3 screening

The stars of Heartstopper surprised fans at a special screening in London, hosted by Netflix and GAY TIMES. PHOTOGRAPHY BY SAMA KAI Netflix and GAY TIMES joined forces for a special London screening of Heartstopper season three, where dozens of fans were left stunned by secret guest appearances from Joe Locke, Jenny Walser and Alice Oseman.

On 2 October at Picturehouse Central, the GAY TIMES cover stars behind Charlie and Tori Spring and Oseman, who created the webcomic of the same name and serves as creator and writer of the series, participated in a Q&A with host Megan Jayne-Crabb.

After reflecting on the heavier themes of season three, including Charlie’s battle with his eating disorder and the “steamier” sequences, as well as their favourite moments from filming, fans were treated to the first two episodes.

The event also included a plethora of recognisable faces, such as Heartstopper executive producer Patrick Walters, presenters Harriet Rose and Josh Thomas, activists Yasmin Benoit and Alex Vasquez, internet personalities Max Selwood, Ilya Selyn, Joel Rochester, Rhys Thomas and Maninder Sachdeva and Drag Race UK stars Kitty Scott-Claus, Kyran Thrax, River Medway and Tia Kofi.
