Big Brother contestant Kerry has been slammed online after using an 'awful' and 'outdated' term in order to express her frustration during a live broadcast.The NHS worker who has divided fans of the show in recent days has come under scrutiny following her use of the term 'gay' as she shared her irritation at a prank which her fellow housemates played on her.Earlier on in the week, Kerry, found herself landing a spot in Big Brother's 'VIP' campsite during the shopping task reports the Mirror.However, when she attempted to settle down for the night, her pals made the decision to play a prank on her - hiding her luxury mattresses - which riled the housemate up the wrong way.
Olivia and Jenkin hid the mattress and told Kerry that viewers had voted for the housemate and that they wanted to lose it.As Kerry continued to be annoyed by the harmless prank, she claimed she would beg Big Brother for it back, having spent time outside sitting in the rain to secure her spot inside the house.
In an attempt to express her fury, Kerry sat down with Olivia and Jenkin before saying: "Well, this is gay." But as she was desperate to speak to Big Brother bosses, the pair eventually came clean.Kerry's comment on the show did not go down well with viewers, who were instantly furious at the slur.Fans took to Reddit to share their anger.
