On Monday's Big Brother, housemate Hallie Clarke came out to her co-stars as a transgender woman, with Tuesday's episode then seeing her questioned about her transition by Farida Khalifa.
One question Farida asked was if men who dated Hallie would be considered gay, to which Hallie explained that they would not be.
And while Hallie took the questions in her stride on Tuesday's show, 10 October, the conversation caused something of a stir on social media, with one viewer writing: "Does Farida not understand Hallie is a woman, I dunno I feel this questions are a bit wild tbh" Although others were quick to argue that Farida's questions were "well-intentioned", with one posting: "Hallie handled those questions so well and Farida seemed to have her heart in the right place and wanted to be educated." Sharing how proud of her daughter she is, she said: "She's always mature and considered in her response. She is very mature and has grown up fast. And asked if Farida's questions would have upset Hallie, Samantha continued: "No not all.
