Thousands of people will head into Manchester city centre this bank holiday weekend to enjoy the annual Pride festival. The annual four-day LGBTQ+ celebration will see events taking place across the city Friday and Monday with music, performances and a special parade all planned.
At the heart of the festivities will be The Gay Village Party, at Sackville Gardens, which will host a diverse line-up of musical performances across three stages. The parade will set off on Deansgate, from the junction with Liverpool Road, and turn right on Peter Street, past the Great Northern Warehouse and the Central Library onto Oxford Street, before turning right onto Portland Street.
Skirting the Gay Village, the parade will then turn right onto Princess Street then left on to Whitworth Street before finishing at Fairfield Street.
