‘Sex Education’ will end with a fourth and final season, Netflix has announced. The series was renewed in September 2021 after its third was met with critical acclaim.
However, its cancellation appeared to become inevitable after an array of stars announced they would not be returning, including Simone Ashley, Tanya Reynolds and Patricia Allison.
Following on from this, Ncuti Gatwa, who is set to take on the title role in ‘Doctor Who’, and Emma Mackey announced that the fourth season would mark their final appearances in ‘Sex Education’.
In a letter to fans on 4 July, creator Laurie Nunn confirmed that the show would soon come to an end.
