Pop star Troye Sivan has revealed the one artist he wants to collaborate with on a remix for Rush. On 13 July, the “Bloom” singer officially ushered in his new music era by releasing the highly anticipated lead single and its dance heavy music video.
At the time of its release, Troye described Rush as “the feeling of kissing a sweaty stranger on a dancefloor, a two-hour date that turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer”. “Party after party, after party, after party.
All of my experiences from a chapter where I feel confident, free and liberated. Independent, yet somehow the most connected to the music and community around me.” With the track continuing to make waves in the music sphere, Sivan recently sat down with Apple Music host Travis Mills to discuss the track and his upcoming third studio album, Something to Give Each Other.
When asked about a potential Rush remix and if there was a particular artist he would want to collaborate with, the “Dance To This” singer singled out pop icon Janet Jackson. “I just think, she to me is like, she’s sort of the ultimate.
