Thanks largely to the film’s popularity on TikTok, Ellis-Bextor’s shimmering disco hit has just climbed to number two on the UK Singles Chart, matching its original peak from 2002.  “It really is a bit of magic – I’m aware that this is a unique experience,” Ellis-Bextor says over Zoom.
