The North Haven story wound its way into the early 1970s when the founders’ two sons, Jon and David joined the family business, then into 1992 when David Pinkus left, and all the way up to September 2013 when Ralph Pinkus passed away.
Even the death of the founder couldn’t stop North Haven Gardens’ story. But a natural disaster almost did: On Sunday night, Oct.
22, 2019, an EF-3 tornado with winds up to 140 mph cut a swatch of destruction across North Dallas, and North Haven Gardens caught the near full force of the storm’s fury.
