Chappell Roan, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish are among the LGBTQIA+ artists and allies that have scored major Grammy nominations. Taking place 2 February at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, the 2025 ceremony has been dominated by Beyoncé (feels correct) and her trailblazing country-inspired album COWBOY CARTER.
With 11 noms, Beyoncé now boasts 99 career nominations and has, officially, surpassed her husband Jay-Z as the most nominated artist in the history of the Grammys.
To the surprise of none, she will once again compete for the coveted Album of the Year, where she faces strong opposition from Charli xcx, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
If she wins, it will mark her first ever award in the category. As for the aforementioned queer artists, Billie has landed seven nominations, making history in the process as the first ever artist to be nominated for Album of the Year with their first three albums.
