Dallas Pride officials announced today (Thursday, Nov. 7) that the Dallas Pride celebration is returning to Fair Park in 2025 but with a new, later date: Next year, the two-day Dallas Pride Festival and Parade will be held June 14-15. Dallas Pride Executive Director Sherrell Cross explained that the 2025 “celebration of the work done year-round to uplift the LGBTQ+ community” will take place a week later than usual — on the second weekend of June, rather than the first — to make room in the schedule for WorldPride 2025. “On its 50th Anniversary of Pride, Washington, D.C.

has been selected to host WorldPride 2025,” Cross said. “Their parade, festival and concert will take place the weekend of June 7-8, which is be the traditional date of Dallas Pride,” Cross said. “We understand that many in our community wish to attend this historic event in D.C., [so] the Dallas Pride board has determined that postponing our celebration to June 14-15 will better accommodate our community’s desires.” Cross said that “given the overwhelming success of last year’s event,” the Dallas Pride festival will again be a two-day event, with vendors and festival activities continuing from Saturday into Sunday, with “all-ages events [offering] a weekend of fun honoring the LGBTQ+ community, its allies, sponsors and supporters.

Dallas Pride Music Festival on June 14 will feature a variety of musical and dance performances on multiple indoor and outdoor stages.

More than 200 vendors are expected to have booths at the festival, Cross said, and the Family Pride Zone will feature several bounce houses, face painting, entertainment for the kids and the Pride Train ride in the Automobile Building at Fair Park.
