USPS announces new Keith Haring postage stamp coming in 2025

A post shared by Keith Haring Foundation (@keithharingfoundation)In a press statement issued Friday, USPS said, “This new Love stamp celebrates the universal experience of love with a work by artist Keith Haring (1958–1990). “With a deceptively simple and now-iconic style, Haring’s work is instantly recognizable.

This stamp features Haring’s 1985 Untitled drawing.”Keith Haring was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on May 4, 1958. He was raised in Kutztown, PA by his mom Joan and dad, Allen.

He studied commercial art at Pittsburgh’s Ivy School of Professional Art but lost interest, preferring instead to concentrate on his own art.

He relocated to New York City in 1978 and studied painting at the School of Visual Arts. He quickly made a name for himself with his graffiti art on the New York subway.
