Drag Race’s Trixie Mattel to star in new Trixie Motel series for HGTV
Drag Race star Trixie Mattel is set to expand her home improvement empire with a brand-new series on HGTV. Back in 2022, the beloved drag talent released her acclaimed limited series, Trixie Motel.
The eight-part show, which aired on Discovery+, followed Trixie as she and her partner, David Silver, renovated a motel in Palm Springs with the help of their celebrity friends.
Upon its release, the show became a massive hit with TV viewers, who praised the Drag Race alum for bringing campy hijinks to the home renovation TV genre.
A year after the show’s premiere, David teased that he and Trixie were working hard on new Trixie Motel episodes in an Instagram post, writing: “And we’re back #TMseason2.” While the home-improvement pair refrained from sharing additional details at the time, Warner Brothers recently announced new information about the forthcoming series, including its new title and network.
