Bachelor stars Colton Underwood and Becca Tilley have praised The Bachelorette’s Gabby Windey for coming out. Back in August, the beloved reality TV star revealed on The View that she was queer and dating a woman. “I always want to live my truth and my story, so I have been seeing someone for a couple of months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is a bigger story and a bigger conversation because I’m dating a girl,” she explained.

In an additional post on Instagram, Windey revealed that comedian Robby Hoffman was her mysterious new partner, writing: “Told you I’m a girls girl!!” She added on her Instagram story: “I’ve been in a relationship [that] I feel like I’ve never had before.

I wanted to tell you guys because I always just want to live my life honestly and have you all along with me.” Since that fateful day, Windey has remained an open book about her coming out journey and dating life – which has received praise from other queer Bachelor Nation stars like Underwood and Tilley.

In a recent interview withE! News, the Coming Out Colton star said he was “super proud and excited” for Windey. “I’m just extremely proud of anybody from that franchise or any of the TV and reality world that gets to live their truth,” he said. “I know it’s challenging going through a show like that with just the pressures of America rooting for a relationship without being in it.” Tilley echoed similar sentiments in a separate interview with the news outlet. “Having Colton and Gaby in the same place gives everyone a little more comfort, you know?” she said. “It makes me so happy – outside of Bachelor Nation, in Bachelor Nation – people feeling comfortable to be able to love who they love and let themselves have connections with people that maybe they didn’t expect to have.” Back in 2021, Underwood made headlines when he came out as gay in an in-depth interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America. “I’ve ran from myself for a long time, and I’ve hated
