Excited for first-time trip to the Galápagos
On Feb. 9, I will start my trip to one of my bucket list destinations, the Galápagos Islands. Ever since I heard about these islands when I was in elementary school, they intrigued me.
Then a couple of years ago, I heard about a new Celebrity cruise ship, the Flora, taking visitors through the Galápagos. I wrote about it, and then contacted my friends, and travel agents, Dustin, and Scott of My Lux Cruise, to see if we could plan a trip.
Scott contacted Celebrity and now we are going. The Celebrity Flora is a 50-suite luxury yacht with a capacity of 100. It turned out I wasn’t the only one excited about going.
There are 34 people who signed up with our group. Scott and Dustin, you are welcome, lol. One thing you may not know is that Charles Darwin first visited the islands in 1835, aboard the HMS Beagle.
