A new photo from Pedro Pascal’s new movie Freaky Tales has arrived. Back in 2022, Deadline revealed that Captain Marvel directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden were creating a new film starring the beloved talent.

At the time, details surrounding the plot were kept under wraps. However, the publication did confirm that the film would be inspired by Fleck’s experience growing up in Oakland, California.

Since that fateful day, new details regarding Freaky Tales have been kept under wraps… until now. On 8 December, the Sundance Film Festival announced that the project would be making its world premiere at the upcoming event, which is set to take place from 18 January to 28 January.

Alongside its festival inclusion, the non-profit organisation revealed a first-look photo from the film featuring Pascal. In the snapshot, the Game of Thrones star is shown burning a piece of paper with a menacing look on his face.
