Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Gemma Collins has hit back at body-shamers as she opened up about her health, reavling why it's difficult for her to lose weight.The former TOWIE star, 42, who recently appeared on The Real Full Monty, reaveled that she suffers from a number of health conditions that have impacted her weight over the years.

Opening uo about these, Gemma shared that she has an underactive thyroid, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), metabolic syndrome and low iron levels.

Speaking to the Mail Online, she explained: "I've always loved myself.To be honest, I've never looked at myself and thought, ''Oh, I'm disgusting''.

I mean, there's always b******t I could do with losing a bit of weight. "But as I say, you know, I'm not going to spend my life being unhappy.
