Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
She's been working with a health coach on a new diet plan over recent weeks, and Gemma Collins showed fans that it has certainly done the trick as she took to Instagram on Tuesday (29 May) to show off her weight loss.
The former TOWIE star has been on a high-fibre diet working with coach Steve Bennett and noticed how much her waist has slimmed while on a photoshoot this week.Talking to the camera, Gemma said: "'Hi guys so I'm on a shoot and I just want to show you, look at that, that's my normal size and that is why fibre plus is the one,' she said. 'I mean look at all that excess fabric." However, some fans were quick to call out Gemma, who suffers from PCOS and has been open about her struggles to lose weight, in the comments - which have now been limited and disappeared from the post.
One said: "She’s pulling an elasticated waistband, of course they are going to have a lot of give in them. Also might be more believable without the tag on the leg!!" Gemma's fans may be apprehensive after the star recently admitted the lengths she has gone to in the past to promote a weight loss method.
Speaking on The Mail's Everything I Know About Me podcast earlier this month, the reality star claimed she was sent to a bootcamp where she endured hours of exercise a day, before signing a huge deal to lose weight.
