Cheryl Fergison, who played Heather Trott on EastEnders, has posed the question: can she be a Drag Race UK judge? The actress appeared on the beloved British soap between 2007 and 2012 before she was tragically killed off after being bludgeoned with a picture frame by Ben Mitchell (Joshua Pascoe).

In a video posted to her social media channels, the star can be seen wearing a bedazzled headpiece from her Wizard of Oz costume, a panto she is currently starring in at The Cressent, Peterborough. “So what I really, really, really want to know is please can I be a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race?” she asked fans.

One of the first to respond was RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season three finalist Kitty Scott-Clause, who said: “OMG please! Runway theme could be night of a thousand Heathers!” Other fans of the Albert Square icon were quick to back the plea.

One wrote: “OMG make it happen please Michelle Visage the UK gays will LOVE THIS.” Another added: “Okay but would also be fab as an acting coach or director in a challenge!” To which Cheryl answered: “Of course … you know it makes sense.” “With a George Michael lip-sync song,” a third stated, referring to her character’s obsession with the musician. “Iconic.” You can watch Cheryl’s video in full below or by clicking here.
