This law is rooted in hatred. Our lawmakers should focus on improving taxpayers’ lives and passing legislation that ensures the most marginalized and disadvantaged communities have protections and support.
With passing of the Laken Riely Act, it seems our legislators are no longer on the side of the people. H.R. 29 should not exist.
This bill has transformed into an unfortunate situation into a political game that will have a detrimental impact on all Americans regardless of their citizenship status.
