Game of Thrones star Bella Ramsey shared a heartfelt message to their younger self in honour of Trans Day of Visibility. On 31 March, The Last of Us star – who identifies as non-binary and goes by any pronouns – tweeted a picture from their childhood to celebrate the important day. “Happy TDOV to this little dude.

I didn’t know the word non-binary in this picture,” Ramsey wrote.  “But I knew what it meant. Inherently. Because I always was, and always will be.

Lotsa love to all of my trans enby and gender funky friends. #TransDayofVisibility.”  Following their inspiring message, fans and Ramsey’s industry peers flocked to Twitter to support the young talent.

One person wrote: “I’m so proud of you. I’m so glad you’re able to be your true authentic self. I couldn’t be more proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished.” Another fan thanked the Catherine Called Birdy star for inspiring them and “many others.”  “You’ve certainly helped me with being more and more okay with who I am, and I cannot thank you enough for that.
