WATCH: Colman Domingo stars as the gay civil rights activist in Netflix’s ‘Rustin’

Probably fine to say the Oscar race is now on as we head toward the end of the year and Netflix is on top of it. Last week, the streaming service dropped the trailer for its upcoming biopic Rustin starring Black Tie Dinner honoree Colman Domingo.
The film tells the story of Bayard Rustin, the gay activist who served with Martin Luther King Jr. and organized the historic March on Washington.
The film will be in theaters on Nov. 3 followed by its premiere on Netflix Nov. 17. From Netflix: The architect of 1963’s momentous March on Washington, Bayard Rustin was one of the greatest activists and organizers the world has ever known.
