Dead Boy Detectives: Lukas Gage to star in The Sandman spin-off series
The first trailer for Dead Boy Detectives, Netflix’s upcoming supernatural horror detective comedy, has finally been released.
Based on the DC Comics characters of the same name from Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, the series stars George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri as Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland, best friends who decided to ditch the afterlife to remain on Earth to investigate supernatural crimes.
The synopsis reads: “Do you have a pesky ghost haunting you? Has a demon stolen your core memories? You may want to ring the Dead Boy Detectives. “Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries.
They will do anything to stick together — including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself.” Aided by a “clairovoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura)”, Edwin and Charles will “crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases”.
