According to eagle-eyed fans, Chappell Roan might be appearing on an upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Throughout 2024, the beloved talent has catapulted to mainstream superstardom following the release of her stand-alone pop anthem, ‘Good Luck, Babe!’, which was met with acclaim for its unapologetic queerness and themes of compulsory heterosexuality.
Chappell’s 2023 debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, subsequently began to climb the worldwide charts. In addition to her incredible music, the 26-year-old talent has also made waves for consistently using her platform to praise and uplift the drag community.
Due to her love for the art form and its various queens – including icon Sasha Colby – fans have called on World of Wonder and Mother Ru to feature the ‘Pink Pony Club’ singer as a guest judge on Drag Race.
While the WOW team has remained mum on the possibility, Chappell’s recent Rolling Stone interview seemingly confirmed that highly requested collaboration has already happened.
