Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
When TOWIE star Gemma Collins met the King Charles and Queen Camilla back in June, it looked like the start of a budding - and unlikely - friendship.
Now, in an exclusive interview with, the 42-year-old revealed how much she "loves them" and their work they do to help animals. "Charles and Camilla invited me to the Animal Ball, and I just thought it was amazing," Gemma said. "I think they appreciate what I do for animals and how much I support the elephants.
I just love the King and Queen – Charles is such a humanitarian and wants to give a voice to all the animals." The ball took place at Lancaster House to mark the 20th anniversary of wildlife conservation charity Elephant Family, which was set up in 2003 by Queen Camilla's late brother Mark Shand.
While nervousness isn't something you'd normally associate with the GC, the star admitted she was on her best behaviour. She said: "I made sure I was very posh that day and remembered my elocution lessons.
