The National LGBTQ Task Force this week opened registration for the 36th Creating Change Conference taking place Jan.

17-21 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, La. A special kick-off registration rate for the conference is available, in limited supply, through Nov.

And the host hotel is offering a discounted Creating Change Conference rate only through Dec. 26 Highlights of the conference will include Raquel Willis, an award-winning activist, author and media strategist dedicated to Black trans libration, as emcee, along with keynote presentations, awards and more than 100 workshops and caucuses.

There will be the Gayme Night, the Opening Cruise, and the Art Studio Space, as well as the annual House Ball with extra-special guests and other surprises.
