Uganda’s Constitutional Court has upheld the nation’s extreme anti-LGBTQ+ law, which includes capital punishment for “aggravated homosexuality”.

Deputy Chief Justice and Head of Court, Justice Richard Buteera, handed down the decision on Wednesday, April 3, closing the case brought by two law professors from Makerere University in Kampala.
